IAC 2016 Workshop: Current Research In Indiana Archaeology

The Indiana Archaeology Council will be holding its Annual Workshop this year as a joint venture with the Indiana Public Archaeology Symposium, sponsored by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. The workshop will be held at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana (*note: this is a different location this year) on Saturday August 27, 2016. This year’s theme is “Current Research in Indiana Archaeology” (or other Indiana Archaeology topic of your choice). Both papers and poster presentations are welcome. Those interested in presenting a paper or poster should please respond by July 22, 2016 and send an abstract (150 words maximum) no later than August 5, 2016 to:

Please indicate your preferred presentation format with your abstract submission. Participants will be allocated 15 minutes per oral presentation, with a 5 minute discussion period post presentation. Please feel free to “recycle/reuse” any paper or poster presented in the past for this workshop.
